Kamishima Chinami presented its 2013 Spring/Summer collection. Based on the theme of "Butterfly," the collection drew on natural motifs, including butterfly-related flowers and spring light. The collection begins with a clean floral print on a white background. Colors gradually emerge, moving through blue, yellow-green, and beige. Floral motifs are also scattered throughout, both woven and printed. Acrylic ornaments dance around the shoulders and waists, and beaded embroidered flowers add a lively touch. The second half of the collection sees the colors become more intense, with bolder colors like moss green, orange, and black, including dresses and pants printed with irises, magnolias, and buttons. Ensembles, dresses, and tight skirts are showcased, showcasing a full range of styles. A wide variety of light and airy spring coats are offered, including some with a moderate amount of room and others with hemlines reminiscent of butterflies. "I wanted to create the impression of butterflies fluttering as the clothes brush past each other and the colors mix," said Kamishima Chinami. She also shared a positive message with reporters, saying, "Recently, Japan has often felt a sense of stagnation, but from an overseas perspective, we are blessed."
