Phenomenon, led by designer Takeshi Osumi, presented its Spring/Summer 2013 collection amid a DJ set by the Dex Pistols, who wore jet-black shirts, shorts, and baseball caps. T-shirts featuring this season's floral print motif were elegantly styled with black items. Drop-shoulder, boxy silhouettes were common. Paired with above-the-knee shorts, they wore loafers with high socks, or slip-ons with bare feet. Pop details stood out, including shirts and jackets with square panels, blousons, and shirts and jackets featuring emblems. Trendy accessories included clutch bags and iPad cases. Colorful tie-dye also made an appearance, adorning the hems of coats and shirts. Gradient shades of deep green, navy, and other blues mixed with floral, camouflage, and beige. Materials, including glossy materials and mesh, offered a sporty yet elegant look. Osumi says he created this collection while listening to his favorite hip-hop and other dance music. He also wanted people to feel the fusion of music and clothing, including the DJ performances by Dex Pistols. He will also be launching his first women's collection from Spring/Summer 2013.
