Andaz Tokyo in Toranomon, Tokyo, will be serving up cool, refreshing shaved ice made with fruit and cocktails that will help you forget the summer heat.  

The pastry shop on the first floor will be offering "Fresh Fruit KAKIGORI," a shaved ice topped with fresh fruit, again this year from June 17th to August 31st. This year, the lineup will feature two flavors: Chocolate Banana, loved by people of all ages, and Peach, which always reigns high on the list of favorite fruits.

"Chocolate Banana Shaved Ice" (1,450 yen) is shaved ice made from frozen sweet chocolate sauce, topped with fresh banana and coconut chips. It is then topped with a generous amount of a sauce made from a mixture of condensed milk and coconut. The ice also contains caramelized walnuts, giving it a nice crunchy texture.

On the other hand, the "Peach Shaved Ice" (1,600 yen) is made by freezing peach puree and compote into shaved ice, with strawberry jelly hidden inside, and topped with peach sauce, vanilla ice cream, and fresh peach pulp. It is also drizzled with a generous amount of raspberry and basil jelly, making it not only delicious but also adorable in its pink appearance. From July 1st to August 31st, the rooftop bar on the 52nd floor will be serving the vibrant "Champagne Cocktail," a combination of vibrant champagne bubbles and fresh fruit.
The menu includes drinks that are both visually and tastefully gorgeous, such as the "Mango Fizz" (2,100 yen), which is based on an olive-scented dirty martini and uses Japanese gin and mango to create a rich sweetness with a hint of Japanese botanicals, and the "Strawberry Rossini" (2,100 yen), which combines strawberries, the perfect accompaniment to champagne, with chamomile for a tart yet refreshing floral aroma.
