Hotel New Otani Makuhari will be hosting a limited-time Golden Week event, "Strawberry Picking at the Hotel & Super Sweets Buffet," from April 27th to May 6th.
"Strawberry Picking at the Hotel" is a strawberry-focused buffet that began in 2009. Its wide variety of strawberry dishes has made it a popular buffet, and this spring marks its 10th anniversary, and it's finally coming to an end.
Befitting the finale of the event, "Super Sweets," premium sweets made with carefully selected ingredients, will be making their first appearance at the buffet. Five types of sweets will be available: "Super Amaou Shortcake," "Super Melon Shortcake," "Super Cheesecake," "Super Mamekan," and "Super Classic Twin Roll."
The number of desserts, including strawberry sweets, has been increased from the usual 18 to 25. The selection will be further increased to 30 types of sweets available during the 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM sessions each day.
In addition, a "Fresh Strawberry Bar" will be available, featuring three different brands of strawberries that change daily. You can enjoy the original taste and freshness of strawberries, which are full of individuality in terms of taste, aroma, color, size, and texture. By mixing fresh strawberries with condensed milk, you can enjoy the perfect balance of sour and sweet, making it possible to eat as many as you want.
