Mimosa is a flower that heralds the arrival of spring.

For a limited time only, from March 1st to 31st, The Lounge at Hoshino Resorts Karuizawa Hotel Bleston Court will be serving mimosa-colored assiette desserts (seasonal desserts).


March 8th is International Women's Day. In Italy, this day is known as "Mimosa Day," and it is customary to give bouquets of mimosa flowers to women as a token of appreciation. The assiette dessert, inspired by a bouquet of mimosa flowers, is a fluffy cheesecake called "Crémé d'Anjou," made with yellow meringue and lemon cream to resemble a mimosa. This dessert features refreshing lemon cream and lemon sorbet that go perfectly with the tartness of the cheese.
