Milk was founded in 1970, followed by the men's line MILKBOY, which was launched in 1974. It's no exaggeration to say that both brands are part of the foundation of the now-globally known "TOKYO KAWAII" culture. Designer Hitomi Okawa continues to design romantic, slightly sarcastic, and fantastical clothing that is neither childlike nor adult, inspired by her vision of "the youth of the era as icons." This time, the brand is proposing a hospital-themed sweets set, which debuted at the 2019 Spring/Summer Collection show last December. The design is clearly conveyed not only by the appearance of the sweets and drinks, but also by the plates and cutlery. This dessert set is a highly conceptual offering, where you can customize your own desserts using the included tweezers to decorate a cross-shaped roll cake with sweets resembling medicine. The drink included in the set is a "blue soda," made by dissolving blue syrup in a syringe into a glass of soda water. It's a collaboration dessert that will have you wondering what it tastes like.

It might be nice to enjoy a witty dessert like this every now and then?
