To celebrate the publication of stylist Todoroki Setsuko's new book, "Kimonoashi Techo 2" (published by Takarajimasha), a dinner and chat with the author will be held at the Omotesando and Osaka stores of URBAN RESEARCH's organic brand, Kagure.
"Kimonoashi Techo 2" has the theme of "color," and uses gentle words and photographs to carefully explain Todoroki's everyday styling. At this event, Todoroki will lecture on various matters related to color, including behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot and how to coordinate outfits that enjoy color for early summer. Todoroki himself is a self-proclaimed big fan of Yoyogi-Uehara bento and catering shop chioben, which will be preparing colorful early summer bento boxes.
The events will be held at the Omotesando store (Miko Jingumae, 4-25-12 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on June 15th (three times), and at the Osaka store (Kawaraya-cho 2-14-9, Chuo-ku, Osaka) on June 22nd (two times). The price is 3,500 yen, which includes a signed copy of the new book by the author, tea, and bento. Pre-orders are being taken on the brand's official website.
Todoroki is a stylist born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1972. He is active in magazines such as Liniere and SPRiNG, as well as in advertisements, and his natural-oriented lifestyle is also popular. The first in the series, Kimikoshi Techo, was published last September.
