Andaz Tokyo's Halloween special features spooky yet lovable treats, including eyeball mousse and spiderweb cupcakes

Event Date:2017.09.11-10.31
Sep 24, 2017

The Pastry Shop on the first floor of Andaz Tokyo in Toranomon, Tokyo, is offering Halloween sweets that are spooky yet somehow endearingly cute until October 31st. The popular Steering Eye Mousse Cake, a mousse that looks like a real eyeball, is now available in two varieties: Lime & Cheesecake and Raspberry & White Chocolate Mousse (550 yen each). The mummy-designed Pumpkin Eclair is also available in large (490 yen) and small (200 yen) sizes. New additions include the Spiderweb Cupcake, a blueberry-flavored cupcake draped with spiderwebs, reminiscent of a deserted cave on a dark night, and the Red Velvet Cupcake, a raspberry-flavored cupcake with an axe design (500 yen each). Other items available include the "Halloween Lollipop" (1,350 yen), a set of three - a pistachio pumpkin face, a chocolate Frankenstein, and a vanilla mummy; the individually handmade "Halloween Pumpkin Macaron" (3 for 1,400 yen); the bright red and fluffy "Devil Meringue" (650 yen); the "Pumpkin Donut" (500 yen) designed like a cute pumpkin hat; the autumn-only "Halloween Sweet Jar" (750 yen); and the "Sweet Pumpkin Trifle" (600 yen), a trifle made of layers of custard, sponge cake, fruit, and more, shaped like a gravestone.
