
Restaurants, cafes, and bars at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be offering limited-time Halloween menus starting October 1st. The hotel's sixth-floor steakhouse, the Oak Door, will be serving the "Pumpkin Burger" (¥2,200), a special burger with a monthly menu change, from October 1st to 31st. The beef patty is sandwiched between a pumpkin-shaped bun mixed with pumpkin paste and topped with smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. The hotel will also offer a "Halloween Afternoon Tea" (¥2,200 with a drink) featuring finger cookies, mascarpone mousse and coffee jelly eyeballs, cotton candy spiderwebs topped with chocolate praline spiders, and pumpkin cupcakes. A la carte desserts only are available for ¥2,900 (for two people).
Also, the Oak Door Bar on the same floor will be serving impactful cocktails that are realistically presented on October 21st, 22nd, and from 28th to 31st. The lineup includes "Bloody Eyes" (1,700 yen), made with lychee juice, vodka, and lychee liqueur, and topped with a "bloodshot eyeball" made with lychee and blueberry; "Worm-Shaped Jelly" (1,500 yen), made with cranberry juice, vodka, and raspberry jelly; "Skull Shot" (1,300 yen), made with Baileys, lemon juice, and grenadine syrup in a skull-shaped shot glass to represent a realistic brain; "Dark Magic" (1,800 yen), which evokes darkness with "Fenette Branca," the "world's most bitter liqueur," and cola; and "Pan Chicken" (1,500 yen), a party cocktail meant to be enjoyed in a shared style and served in a hollowed-out pumpkin. In addition, the all-day kitchen "French Kitchen" on the second floor will be offering a "Sweets Festa Afternoon Tea" (3,500 yen) from October 1st to 31st. The tea includes an assortment of sweets and savory items, a sweets buffet featuring finger cookies and eyeball-shaped treats, and drinks.
Also, the pastry boutique "Fiorentina Pastry Boutique" on the first floor will be offering Halloween-only sweets from mid-September to October 31st. They will be selling "Pumpkin Roll Cake" (27cm/2,200 yen), which is made with diced Hokkaido pumpkin and cream, wrapped in a dough kneaded with pumpkin powder, "Halloween Cookies" (850 yen) with Halloween motifs such as ghosts and bats, and an assortment of mini cookies, "Halloween Cookie Assortment (Set of 4)" (1,200 yen).
And from October 1st to 31st, the Italian cafe "Fiorentina" on the first floor will be offering a "Halloween Dessert" (1,500 yen) consisting of layers of caramel sauce, pumpkin pudding, and soft serve ice cream topped with chocolates in the shapes of spider webs made from choux pastry, jack-o'-lanterns, and bats.
