Starting July 1st, DIESEL's Glorious chain cafe will be introducing two new parfaits and summer-only sweets, including a hamburger and pancake afternoon tea set. The tropical "Mango & Passion Fruit Parfait" (1,280 yen including tax), made with a generous amount of fresh mango, is topped with refreshing mango-flavored sorbet and jelly, rich and creamy brulee, and caramel-flavored popcorn with a sweet and sour passion fruit sauce. The other parfait, the "Wow!! Chocolate & Banana Parfait" (980 yen including tax), is a hearty dish made with banana, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream topped with plenty of fresh cream and chocolate sauce, and served with crispy cookies and pretzels on the side. The "Afternoon Tea Set" (1,890 yen including tax, with salad and drink) is available only on weekdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It features a mini-sized cheeseburger with a juicy, coarsely ground beef patty sandwiched between a buttery bun and original pancakes topped with a mountain of fruit. Ordering this set also includes two free drinks per person. The Shibuya store also offers a limited-time offer: "Coffee Jelly" (650 yen including tax), made with single-origin Guatemalan coffee ground daily. A vanilla gelato is hidden beneath the panna cotta, creating a perfect match with the bitter coffee flavor. The "Mango & Passion Fruit Parfait" and "Wow!! Chocolate & Banana Parfait" are available from 3:00 PM, while the "Afternoon Tea Set" is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays.
