
The Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo, is introducing a gorgeous summer-only treat. The "Hagoromo Milk Shaved Ice with Ishigaki Island Natural Mangoes - Topped with Premium Bird's Nest and Coconut Milk Syrup" (2,400 yen), a Hong Kong-style shaved ice made with luxurious mango, is available at the Chinese restaurant "China Room" until August 31st.
This dessert features mango-flavored shaved ice topped with precious fresh mangoes from Ishigaki Island, creating a mango-filled dessert. Topped with a luxurious bird's nest and coconut milk syrup, it's also said to have skin-beautifying properties.
The hotel's Italian cafe, "Fiorentina," also offers its own original soft serve ice cream year-round. It evokes the nostalgic flavors of the Showa era with a modern twist, creating a rich yet not-too-sweet taste. Additionally, two flavors of soft serve gelato, a variation on the original, are available in summer: matcha and peach.
