The first thing that caught my eye was the Disney-inspired cosmetics brand "BEAUTIFULLY." It's a coveted item among Japanese fans, and apparently it can only be purchased here in Hawaii. The pop polka-dot brush inspired by Minnie Mouse and the fantastical eyeshadow palette with its versatile colors make perfect souvenirs. The cute four-piece lipstick set, with its case shaped like the Cheshire Cat's tail, would be fun to share with friends.

The moisturizer (60ml/14 dollars) from "epicuren," which is also used in spa treatments, is the perfect body cream to use after a bath. There are five varieties available, including fresh, tropical scents like papaya pineapple, sweet coconut, and refreshing lemongrass. As expected from a massage treatment, they glide smoothly. They're light and comfortable, yet leave skin feeling smooth thanks to fruit-derived ingredients and macadamia nut oil. A must-have item is Laniwai's original cosmetics. They come in the body wash (244ml/$30), body milk, scrub, and more, all scented with the same Hawaiian flower, maile, as used in the spa. When used at home, the lush scent fills the bathroom, bringing the view of Laniwai right to your eyes! A trip to Aulani leaves you feeling a little more refreshed. Just remembering it is soothing, but I still want to go back, not just for the memories. Thinking about returning after working hard makes my hands tense up as I type.
