LeSportsac, the New York-based bag brand celebrating its 40th anniversary, will expand and reopen its Ginza store (8-9-13 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on July 19th.
The new store, designed by New York firm Kramer, has a total floor area of approximately 116 square meters and is two stories tall. Based on the theme of "Traveling the World of LeSportsac," the store's interior and exterior use abundant colors like sky blue, clouds, and grass green to express the brand's travel and casual scenes. Large monitors and digital signage also feature, creating a visually impactful, dreamy, and cute atmosphere for adults. Staff uniforms will also be updated, and mobile cash registers will be introduced.
Limited-edition items will also be available to commemorate the opening. The "Ruby Tote," a tote bag featuring the multicolored "LeStripe" pattern that is the key visual for the new store design, will be available exclusively at the Ginza store. Two types of bags featuring the "NYC" print, a print exclusive to the NY store and featuring colorful graffiti, will be sold exclusively at the Ginza store in Japan.
In addition, the two flagship stores, Ginza and Omotesando, will also be selling tote bags with a tropical print of colorful stripes in pink and orange, adorned with gold pineapples.
In addition, the new "LeStripe" color, "LeStripe Black," will be released exclusively at the Ginza store. It will be available at other stores from mid-August.
In addition, for three days from July 19th to 21st, there will be a "Bag and Pouch Trade-in Campaign" where you can exchange your unwanted LeSportsac bags and pouches for a 3,000 yen discount coupon that can be used on purchases of 10,000 yen or more.
