"Sky Cherry Blossom Viewing," an aerial cherry blossom viewing event featuring a "cherry blossom tree" made from secondhand clothing, is being held from March 20th to April 12th at L.TERRACE, the rooftop of Lumine Shinjuku 1.
The event uses some of the secondhand clothing traded in during the "Spring Trade-in Campaign" that ran until March 15th. A cherry blossom viewing venue will appear at L.TERRACE under the theme of "Let's have a cherry blossom viewing experience like you've never seen before."
The venue will feature a cherry blossom tree installation made from secondhand clothing dyed in cherry blossom pink to resemble petals. This was created by spatial designers and dye factory artisans, and will be lit up with gorgeous LEDs during the event.
Food and drinks will also be available during the event to get you in the cherry blossom viewing mood. The lineup includes "Oita Nakatsu Fried Chicken" (600 yen), "Sendai Thick-Sliced Beef Tongue Skewers" (800 yen), "Fujinomiya Yakisoba" (500 yen), "American Long Potatoes" (600 yen), as well as hot sangria and draft beer.
In addition, "LUMINE GO! GO! WEEK" is currently being held throughout the entire Lumine building until March 31st. Special events, original novelties, double points giveaways and more are being held at participating Lumine shops nationwide.
In conjunction with this, "Adam et Rope" in Lumine Shinjuku 2 has launched a collaboration line with "agnes b." called "agnes b. pour adam et rope". The second collaboration, available from March 27th, will see the sale of items such as the "Border H/S T-shirt" with its striking colorful neck binder, the "Embroidered T-shirt" and the "Border N/S T-shirt" featuring the agnes b. logo. In addition, Urban Research Doors will be offering a special order service for Birkenstock's iconic model, the "Arizona," in a navy patent leather color.
