As part of its "choroko" initiative, which encourages environmental awareness and action, Lumine will host the "choroko x SHY FLOWER PROJECT x FARADAY CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP" at Lumine Yokohama West Exit Lumine. The event will run for two days, on the 6th and 7th.
Choroko is an environmental promotion project launched to encourage each Lumine staff member to think about and take action on the environment. The Christmas workshop will connect the environment and lifestyle through keywords such as "eco" and "organic."
One of the participating members, the "Shy Flower Project," is an art project that creatively recycles discarded flowers used at parties and events that are otherwise discarded. This event will feature a workshop on repurposing discarded flowers into Christmas wreaths. Using discarded flowers of different colors and shapes, participants can create their own original wreaths.
Faraday, which hosts workshops on wax, candles, and tea lights using beeswax, will propose making Christmas candles using organic beeswax. All you have to do is choose your favorite design and cut it out with a mold, so even children can easily experience candle making.
This workshop, which connects participants with eco-friendly ideas that are close to home, may inspire them to think about environmental activism.
