Shinjuku Isetan 2nd floor remodeled and reopened with a Tokyo-inspired, real-life look

Feb 25, 2014

Isetan Shinjuku will remodel and reopen its second-floor TOKYO Closet on February 26th.
The concept is "Neo-Modern Girl." Targeting the next generation of fashion leaders in their late 20s and 30s who are fashion-conscious and admire global collection trends, the store will propose "clothes I want to wear now."
Opening on the first day of the remodel will be LE CIEL BLEU, which is based on the concept of satisfying ambition and fashion sense; ENFOLD, with Mizuki Ueda of Baroque Japan Limited as creative director; and DOUBLE STANDARD CLOTHING CORCOVADO, which offers styling that mixes opposing elements such as modern and classic, casual and feminine. One more brand will be added on April 1st, creating a zone created by a fashion director active in Tokyo.

As part of the remodel, limited items will be on sale from the 26th from Le Ciel Bleu, including a three-dimensional dark navy dress with stitching from the neck to the waist, and Enfold, a trench coat made of mixed materials with sleeves switched out for a striped shirt, as well as pullovers, skirts and necklaces.

The shop will offer fashion from Tokyo aimed at independent women who are able to select "clothes for themselves" according to their own sensibilities, which are fashionable and edgy but can also be worn every day.
