
The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto will be offering limited-time special menus at three restaurants and bars. The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, a luxury urban resort that opened in February of this year, offers high-quality hospitality in a space filled with traditional ambiance. Located adjacent to the Kamo River, it offers convenient access to Gion and Kawaramachi. The teppanyaki dining at Mizuki Japanese restaurant will be offering a one-night-only "Maverick" Wine Pairing Dinner (limited to eight people, ¥35,000) on the 28th. Enjoy dishes featuring seasonal ingredients, such as a colorful vegetable platter with three special dips and salt and Kobe beef teppanyaki with an 80g fillet steak, alongside five wines, including the Australian wine "Maverick." Guests from the winery will also be invited to share the secrets of wine production and how it pairs with food. The Bar will be collaborating with PIERRE HERME PARIS to host the "Infiniment Citron Sweets Party - A Lemon-Feast" (limited to 30 people, 10,000 yen) on the 28th only. More than 10 types of sweets will be served buffet-style, including the lemon-flavored "Infiniment Citron" series and other limited-time menu items for the day. There will also be food demonstrations by Pierre Herme Paris pastry chefs and a lucky draw competition. Italian restaurant La Locanda will be hosting the "Venice: City of Water Dinner Event" (25,000 yen) for five days only, from August 27th to August 31st. The menu will be themed around Venice, the city renowned as the pearl of the Mediterranean. Italian chef Valentino Palmisano will be in charge of cooking. You can enjoy Venetian local dishes such as "Red shrimp carpaccio with basil gelato and Italian caviar" and "Roasted guinea fowl stuffed with foie gras in Amarone sauce" paired with Venetian wines.
