The Suit Company conducted an online survey on job hunting attitudes targeting 206 third-year university students who are currently job hunting or planning to start job hunting.

When asked, "What should you do first when starting your job hunt?", "Self-analysis" (80.6%), "Learn about companies and industries" (74.8%), and "Purchase a recruitment suit" (43.7%) ranked third. The most expensive item during job hunting was "What to wear (suit, shoes, shirt, etc.)" (79.6%), followed by "Costs for haircuts, beauty salon visits, and cosmetics" (24.8%), revealing that job hunters place great importance on their appearance.

The items that people have purchased or will purchase for job hunting are "suits" (65.5%), "shirts" (58.7%), "shoes" (46.6%), "coats" and "bags" (both 41.7%), with clothing taking up the top five spots, beating out "job-related books" (32.5%) and "smartphones" (7.8%).
