Roppongi Hills will once again hold "Roppongi Hills Sweet Valentine 2014" in time for Valentine's Day. Roppongi Hills believes Valentine's Day is "a day to express gratitude to the important people around you."

Tokyo City View, which was selected as a "Lovers' Sanctuary" by the "Lovers' Sanctuary Project" sponsored by the NPO Regional Revitalization Support Center as a suitable place for proposals, will be offering a "Lovers' Sanctuary Discount" for couples from February 1st to 14th, offering a 2,000 yen admission fee instead of the usual 3,000 yen for a pair. The original "Love Key" (680 yen) is available for limited sale, promising a love pledge of love between lovers. Mado Lounge (52nd floor, Mori Tower) will also be offering a Valentine's Day-exclusive dessert, "Warm Chocolate Fondant with Three Berry Sauces and Brandy Foam." Free "Love Blankets" will be available for couples to wear on the Mori Tower rooftop "Sky Deck." Starting February 1st, shops such as Giorgio Armani, La Maison du Chocolat, Crème de la Crème, La Boutique de Joël Robuchon, and Elle Cafe will be releasing Valentine's Day limited edition products. A special Valentine's Day wagon shop will also be open from February 1st to the 16th. One standout item is the "C.C.C. Nano Chocolat" (1,800 yen) from Le Chocolat de H, produced by Tsujiguchi Hironobu. Made using cutting-edge technology to nano-size cacao nibs (ground cacao beans), it has garnered attention after winning the highest award at a tasting event held by the C.C.C., a French organization of chocolate lovers. Chicago chocolatiers Vosges Haut-Chocolat and La Maison du Chocolat will also be exhibiting. Other planned events include a special one-day lesson (reservation required) on how to make Gateau au Chocolat Nancy, a traditional pastry from Nancy, a city in the Lorraine region of France; special Valentine's Day menus at restaurants in Roppongi Hills; and a "Flower Valentine" project where 16 participating restaurants will give a single flower to dinner customers.
