A pop-up shop for Danish brand Ilse Jacobsen Hornbaek will be open in the women's accessories section on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store from May 22nd to June 4th.
The pop-up shop will mainly feature rainwear, such as shoes, coats, and umbrellas. The items are designed for both outdoor and everyday use.
The boots are made from Malaysian natural rubber and cotton viscose, making them soft and breathable. The proprietary EVA soles are lightweight and non-slip, ensuring functionality. In addition to standard rain boots, the most popular lace-up boots are available in three lengths: short (17,850 yen), half (21,000 yen), and long (24,150 yen). A total of 16 colors are available.
The coats are also made with a highly water-repellent rubber coating. Rain tape is applied to the seams to prevent rain from seeping in. Designed to withstand the harsh cold of Northern Europe, the jacket offers excellent cold protection, making it ideal not only for rainy days but also for camping and outdoor festivals. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is sold with a raincoat and rain hat made from the same fabric.
The brand was founded in 1993 by Danish designer Ilse Jacobsen. In addition to designing shoes, clothing, and fashion accessories, the brand also operates flower shops, spas, and cosmetics, proposing a total lifestyle. While already popular in Europe, this is the first time it has been fully launched in Japan. In addition to Isetan Shinjuku, it is also available for a limited time at Ginza Mitsukoshi.
