Beautiful People will release new rain gear featuring an original heart-motif print on May 22nd. The lineup includes three items: a tote bag, a folding umbrella, and a rain mod coat. The folding umbrella and rain mod coat are exclusive to the Aoyama store (3-16-6 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) and the Isetan Shinjuku store. The tote bag, which can hold A4-sized items, is made of tarpaulin, a durable, easy-care material used for large tents and banners. It can be wiped clean with water if it gets dirty, making it easy to carry even on rainy days. The limited-edition rain mod coat is an adaptation of the brand's classic mod coat. It is lightweight for rain, has a slightly looser body, and is slightly longer in length. It is made from a dressy plain weave fabric with delicate horizontal ribbing woven from polyester filament yarn. It features a smooth texture and supple drape, and after base dyeing, it is overprinted, allowing the dye to penetrate all the way to the back of the fabric, resulting in a deep color. It is also waterproof, with a water-repellent coating on the front and back, and a water-resistant coating on the back, to prevent water that has soaked into the fabric from dripping inside.

The umbrella is also made from the same material as the mod coat. The handle is made of stylish bamboo, and the umbrella bag is a slim tote bag that is easy to carry.

The folding umbrella (15,750 yen) and mod coat (39,900 yen) are available in three colors: black, ecru, and olive, while the tarpaulin tote bag (16,800 yen) is available in two colors: black and ecru.
