
On the 1st, DIESEL kicked off a pop-up event featuring "#DIESELREBOOT," a new project by new artistic director Nicola Formichetti, at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. The event will run until October 8th. This marks the first time a casual brand has held an event at this location. The event will see the launch of the "#DIESELREBOOT TEE'S" T-shirt series (starting at ¥6,090), featuring campaign visuals directed by Nicola. The collection will be available at other stores on October 11th. Other items on display include 11 studded items from the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection, exclusive to Isetan, and jog jeans. A wall displaying Nicola's work for Diesel has also been set up. A video featuring the jog jeans is screened on the shop facade. This is Nicola's first video work for Diesel.
In conjunction with the event on the 1st floor, related events will be held on the 2nd, 5th, and 6th floors during the same period. The home collection will be featured in the bedding department on the 5th floor (until the 15th), and the kids' line will have a limited-time store open at The Stage on the 6th floor. The bar "The Stand" on the 2nd floor will serve wine from Diesel Farm as well as dolce produced by Aigle Douce, a renowned patisserie in Mejiro.
The new clothing collection created by Nicolas is scheduled to launch in the 14-15 AW season.
