Fruit tart specialty store Kil Fait Bon will be holding a "2016 Christmas Cake Tasting Event" from October 11th to 14th, ahead of the start of accepting reservations for its 2016 Christmas cakes.

Kil Fait Bon's Christmas cakes this year are three types of tarts filled with fruit. They will also be offering stollen, a baked confectionery that has long been popular in Germany and other countries.

The tasting events will be held on October 11th and 12th at the Grand Maison Ginza, Aoyama, Shizuoka, and Grand Front Osaka stores, and on October 13th and 14th at the Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi, Kyoto, Sendai, and Fukuoka stores. Applications can be made on the Kil Fait Bon official website until September 14th. Winners will be announced on September 17th, and the participation fee is 1,000 yen per person (tax included).
