PASS THE BATON in Omotesando Hills is collaborating with "Marginal Trip Cinemas," an event held at Theater Image Forum in Shibuya, Tokyo, to take viewers on a global journey through film. Films instantly transport us to uncharted territories, far from the city, where unique religions and worldviews still thrive and unique cultures still thrive. "Marginal Trip Cinemas," held at Theater Image Forum, will be screening three films that invite viewers into these remote locations. The already released "How to Walk to Lhasa: 2400km of Prayer," which follows a pilgrimage to the holy city of Lhasa alongside the people of a small Tibetan village, will be followed in September by "24 Daughters of a Sacred Clan," which takes viewers to meet 24 Mari girls living on the shores of Lake Volga. The October release of "Wandering River" will allow viewers to experience the darkness of the Amazon jungle.
To coincide with the event, Pass the Baton will be selling "The original printed souvenir scarf -paint over-" (6,000 yen), a scarf made from vintage souvenir scarves collected from all over the world with fictional tribal graphics. You will feel as if you are traveling to a place you have never been before. There will also be a stamp rally for "Marginal Trip Cinemas," and 10 people will be randomly selected from applicants to receive the scarf.
