Gourmet Boutique Melissa, a take-out shop at the Rihga Royal Hotel (Osaka), will begin selling and accepting reservations for Christmas products from November 1st, while chocolate specialty store Chocolat Boutique Lecra will begin selling and taking reservations from December 1st.

Gourmet Boutique Melissa has released a newly released decorated cake called "Charmant Rouge" (8,000 yen), which is based on a bright red party bag motif. Colorful fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries peek out from the bag, which has handles and clasps made of chocolate. Beneath the fruit is shortcake, and when you lift the bag, a blackcurrant-flavored chocolate mousse resembling a zippered wallet appears. This is a special item that allows you to enjoy two types of cake at once. Other cakes available include the "Strawberry Fresh Decoration Cake" (12cm 3,700 yen, 15cm 5,000 yen), made with two layers of strawberries and plenty of soft, melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream; the classic Christmas cake "Buche de Noel" (2,800 yen), inspired by a tree stump; and the "Jardin" Buche de Noel (3,500 yen), a bitter-flavored, chic-designed Buche de Noel perfected for adults. Also available are the "Santa House Deluxe" (15,000 yen), a gingerbread house decorated with baked goods handmade by pastry chefs, including Christmas-themed icing cookies; the "Star Chocolate Cake" (800 yen), characterized by the bitter taste of cocoa; and the "Christmas Ring Cake" (1,300 yen), a custard-flavored ring-shaped cake topped with candy Santas. Prepared meals such as the "Christmas Hot Plate" and "Christmas Hors d'oeuvres" (2,000 yen each), which feature the hotel's special dishes on one plate, will also be available for purchase.

Chocolat Boutique Lekura will be releasing seven Christmas-only products, including four new items. The new lineup includes the "Snow Globe" (2,000 yen), which encapsulates a Christmas scene made of chocolate inside a dome; the "Yuki Korokoro" (1,500 yen including tax), which contains a "snowman" filled with cereal-filled chocolate pellets and chocolates with snowflake patterns; the "Ring Snowman" (600 yen), a cute snowman shaped like a ring; and the "Christmas Cookie Basket" (2,000 yen), which contains an assortment of five cookies with motifs such as fir trees, bells, and stars.

Other items on offer include the "Winter Gift Box" (1,200 yen), which contains an assortment of three types of bonbon chocolates, the "Winter Selection" (1,100 yen), which contains an assortment of four types of bonbon chocolates, and the "Christmas POP" (1,500 yen), which is a set of five candy-shaped chocolates.
