
FAUCHON, the Parisian gourmet brand, will be releasing a series of Christmas-only products starting in early November. One of the most noteworthy items is the Santa Hat Red, a mini cake shaped like a Santa hat that was well-received last year. This year, two new varieties are available: the Santa Hat Yellow, a yellow hat filled with sweet chocolate mousse and cream, and the Santa Hat White, a white hat filled with strawberry and vanilla mousse and surrounded by raspberry jelly (each 2,000 yen). The brand also recently released the eye-catching Chocolat Bouche Bergamot (4,000 yen). Bergamot jelly is enclosed in milk chocolate mousse, and the bottom is covered with bergamot dough and almond cookies. A holly-motif chocolate plate adds a touch of Christmas charm. Other drinks on sale include "Stollen Fauchon" (2,500 yen), a vibrant pink Fauchon color finished with raspberry powdered sugar; "Christmas Eve" (3,000 yen), a classic Christmas tea with aromas essential to European Christmases such as orange, vanilla, caramel, maraschino cherry, and pineapple; and "Christmas Foie Gras" (4,500 yen), a combination of duck foie gras with cassis cream, barberry, and blackcurrant pepper.
