"Veggie Bagel," a collaboration between AFFIDAMENTO BAGEL, a bagel specialty store in Tama City, Tokyo, using domestic Hokkaido wheat and natural yeast, and Why Juice?, a cold-pressed juice shop in Daikanyama, Tokyo, launched on October 1st.

The "Veggie Bagel" is made with Why Juice?'s cold-pressed juice, squeezed from high-quality vegetables and fruits grown without pesticides, reduced pesticides, or chemical fertilizers, and the pulp (peel and fiber) from the juice-pressing process, kneaded into dough made with Hokkaido-grown "Yumechikara" wheat and natural yeast "Shirakami Kodama Yeast." Because the pulp is rich in dietary fiber, it also has beneficial effects on the intestines, including beauty benefits for women. Furthermore, since it contains no eggs, milk, butter, preservatives, or food additives, it is suitable for vegans and children.

The bagel, made with "R Detox," a cold-pressed juice made with carrots, beets, apples, and more, is made with lemongrass, beet pulp, and black beans. The bagel, made with "All Veggies," a cold-pressed juice made with carrots, tomatoes, kale, basil, and more, is kneaded with cucumber, basil, tomato pulp, and quinoa. Other bagels include "Dr. Green," made with celery, cucumber, kale, parsley, and more, kneaded with kale and parsley pulp, and lemon beer; and "Charge," made with carrots, apples, ginger, and more, kneaded with carrot and apple pulp and walnuts. A seasonal limited-time offer will also be available: "Nuts Milk," made with daily nuts and cocoa powder, and topped with peach pulp. All prices are 340 yen including tax.

It will be available at AFFIDAMENTO BAGEL stores, the online store, Why Juice? stores, and at events held by both stores.
