[Video] FAKE produces the visuals for FUTURE BOYZ. First music video released

May 14, 2014

FAKE SHOWROOM, the company behind the select shop FAKE TOKYO, has been tasked with producing the overall visuals for EDM duo FUTURE BOYZ. Their first single, "TOKYO STYLE feat. Dave Aude, VASSY," is now available on YouTube. The duo plans to release a music video every month for five consecutive months. The first installment, themed around "Neo-Fashion," showcases a "FUTURE" that's one step ahead in terms of visuals, costumes, sound, and style. Los Angeles creator Dave Aude is the sound producer, and VASSY is the guest vocalist.

The music video was produced by creative agency Seven Shuffles, who also produced the Alexander McQueen show video in which Kate Moss appeared as a hologram. The main costumes were designed by Nakajima Masahiro, who has worked on show styling for James Long and Raf Simons. Fake Showroom has previously produced and directed costumes for many artists, but this is their first time as an overall producer.

Avex-affiliated Future Boys are a duo consisting of sound maker and producer iamSHUN and model thisisWAYNE. With an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) sound with lyrics entirely in English, they are broadcasting a Made in Japan sound to the world. They will be performing at the large-scale EDM festival "MUSIC CIRCUS '14" to be held in Kobe on May 5th, and will also be holding their first event at "WOMB" in Shibuya on June 13th.
