PARCO has enhanced the functionality of "PARCO Shop Blog," Japan's largest information platform used by approximately 3,000 stores across 19 locations nationwide, to provide two new services for tenants and customers.
The company has launched "Kaeru Parco," which adds a feature that allows customers to reserve and order products featured in blog articles online. By linking with "STORES.jp," an e-commerce platform used by approximately 90,000 stores, the service meets the needs of customers who want to see and try on products in-store before making a purchase. Ahead of its full rollout at all PARCO stores this fall, the service has been introduced at Shizuoka Parco's "STUSSY," "X-girl," and "UNDEFEATED" brands.
Through a collaboration with Start Today's fashion coordination app "WEAR," PARCO shop staff's outfits posted on the app will also be published on the PARCO Shop Blog. The company launched this initiative after seeing many cases where online customer service via WEAR led to store visits and purchases. Currently, the service is available in approximately 100 stores nationwide, including Shibuya Parco's "Salon de Balcony" and Nagoya Parco's "Takeo Kikuchi." The service is planned to be gradually expanded to the shop blogs of each Parco store.
