
The barcode scanning feature of WEAR, a new service launched by Start Today on October 31, began promotion at four Parco stores (Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Nagoya, and Chiba) on October 8th.
With the launch of the service at Parco, the number of available brands has increased to approximately 100, including United Arrows, Beams, and A Bathing Ape, which have already launched the service in their street-level stores, mainly in Shibuya and Harajuku.
The promotion, titled "Experimenting a New Shopping Experience," was the first to be launched at a commercial facility. Shibuya Parco announced the launch with WEAR decorations and flags at the front entrance. A booth was also set up to allow users to download the app. Users simply download and launch the app from the App Store or Google Play. After scanning a barcode inside the Parco building and checking in at a shop, they can scan the barcode at each shop to view product information and save the data.
