Marimekko is opening a pop-up shop called "Kaunista arkea" (Beautiful Everyday Life) on the fourth floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building (West Park) from August 17th to 22nd. The pop-up offers a complete look featuring ready-to-wear pieces from the brand's Pre-Fall 2016 collection, including wardrobe essentials like printed dresses, bold shirts, and funky pants. The collection features Marimekko's signature look, combining archival prints by Finnish designers like Oiva Toikka and Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi with contemporary silhouettes and warm, layered styles. In addition, pre-sale items will also be available. A special event featuring models wearing the season's items is scheduled for August 20th at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Additionally, during the event, the first 50 customers who purchase items worth 27,000 yen or more (tax included) will receive a free original Papabubble candy.
