Dolce & Gabbana will open a new flagship store in Tokyo's Aoyama district (5-5-8 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) on September 10th. The store is divided into two floors: the first floor offers men's and women's ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and leather goods. The second floor carries men's formal wear, women's evening wear, and fine jewelry. The design was created by CURIOSITY, a global design studio led by Gwenael Nicolas. Based on the dazzling light of the Sicilian sun and the contrast of shadows it creates, the store further enhances the dramatic atmosphere of Dolce & Gabbana's signature splendor. A wide gold staircase in the center of the store stands out like a large candle shining in the contrast of light and shadow. The exterior is based on black, with windows made of Italian Arabescato Statuario marble cutting through the exterior.

In addition, to commemorate the opening, limited items such as women's and men's bags, iPhone cases and wallets that are only available at the Aoyama store will be on sale.
