A short film has been released revealing the full details of a project between ANREALAGE, ASICS, and Keisuke Kanda.
The project is the first in a series of collaborative projects with Keisuke Kanda announced to commemorate the opening of ANREALAGE's new store, "ANREALAGE AOYAMA," which will open in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo on August 26th. The first project will see the brand collaborate with ASICS to propose new items that are neither sportswear nor businesswear. This time, the main items featured are "Jersey meets suits," a suit-like jersey made from deadstock ASICS training wear fabric, and "Fabre for salaryman," a business shoe reimagining of ASICS' long-selling basketball shoe "Fabre Japan L," launched in 1982, crafted from solid black cowhide. Ten other items, including T-shirts, tote bags, shirts, ties, business socks, and brooch pins, feature the three companies' logos. Yamada Takayuki stars in the promotional videos for these products. The four videos, set in an office setting, feature Yamada Takayuki dressed as a salaryman, showcasing the functionality of the suit-like jersey and business-like basketball shoes in the everyday life of a salaryman. Directed by Shoda Yukihiro, the videos are passionate and humorous, conveying the humor of sports and fashion.
In addition, an ASICS x Keisuke Kanda x Anrealage pop-up store will be open inside Aleage Aoyama from August 26th to October 23rd, where the same items will be sold. Some products will also be available for pre-order on a special online website (keisukekandaanrealage.com).
