Fred Perry x Muveil capsule collection released! Some of the looks revealed, model Yuka Manami

Aug 22, 2016

On October 7th, Fred Perry will release a capsule collection, "FRED PERRY x MUVEIL," in collaboration with MUVEIL. This collaboration was made possible through the mutual respect between Fred Perry and MUVEIL for their storied brand backgrounds and unique worldviews. The collection features a variety of items based on designs from Fred Perry's brand roots, such as mod parkas, track jackets, V-neck sweaters, and tennis dresses, which are part of the history of British subculture. The lineup includes skirts featuring distinctive lace, classic sweaters, chester coats studded with laurel jewels, and shoes and bags accented with pearl motifs. Fred Perry's minimalist pieces are mixed with MUVEIL's feminine and high-quality elements.

Regarding the collaboration, Muveil designer Michiko Nakayama commented, "I was drawn to Fred Perry's classic British mood and its unique history and heritage that fuses sports and subculture."

Pre-orders for the collection will be accepted on the Fred Perry online shop from 12 noon on September 16th, and will be released on October 7th at Fred Perry stores nationwide, Muveil's flagship store GALLERY MUVEIL in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, and some other limited shops.
