
The midsummer "Curry & Beer Festival," featuring approximately 20 types of curry and craft beer, will be held on August 27th and 28th at the United Nations University Courtyard Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo. Curry is versatile and can accommodate any ingredient, from keema curry and summer vegetable curry to vegan options like jerk chicken, naan, and achar. This year's festival will feature approximately 20 curries, each boasting a unique blend of curries. There will also be a "Beer Flight" where you can sample four beers from approximately 12 breweries from around the world. Beers include IPAs, pilsners, saisons, stouts, and lagers. Additionally, on August 28th, the head brewer of The Labrewatory, a Portland, USA, city with approximately 70 microbreweries, will be visiting Japan. Additionally, a workshop on creating your own original spice mix will be held during the festival, with the spice mix specialty store Koshindo. Curry stalls include Nogeyama Curry, rico curry, Cardamom Shokudo, Plus Spice, Mobile Cafe, molamola, LittleYummy, yaad food, Cafe Imperial, Indian Cuisine Sitar, Asian Curry Heekora, Whole Foods Margoto, SPICE VILLAGE with DADA Curry Project, Chandrani, Elephant Restaurant, BARCO, Chandrani, yaad food, and more.
Craft beer stalls include The Labrewatory, as well as Mugi Zakkoku Kobo, Ushitora Brewery, Devil Craft, Futako Beer, Kokonohop, Mikkeller Tokyo, Goose Island, August Beer, Ladybird Trading Co., Ltd. (LervigAktiebryggeri), TRUNK COFFEE, Sankt Gallen, Miyata Beer, KanocoBEER&MARCHE, and more.
