Pierre Hermé's new coffee sweets are a collaboration with an up-and-coming roaster

Jul 29, 2013

PIERRE HERME PARIS will be selling a new coffee-flavored sweet series called "Fetish Infiniment Cafe," in collaboration with Hippolyte Courti, founder of Parisian coffee roaster L'Arbre a Cafe. The sweets will be available for a limited time from September 27th to October 24th.

The sweets use two types of coffee carefully selected by Hermé and Courti: "Hiapar Rouge du Brésil" from Brazil and "Bourbon Pointe de la Réunion" from Piton des Neiges on Reunion Island.

In addition to a tart topped with coffee ganache and crème chantilly, a mille-feuille combining caramelized, lightly salted pâté feuillete (folded puff pastry) with coffee-flavored mascarpone cream, and the "Emotion Infiniment Cafe" which combines baba and crème chantilly with coffee fruit cascara jelly, two types of macarons, pound cake and bonbons will also be available.

Available at Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama and other directly managed boutiques, as well as the online shop.
