Transit General Office Co., Ltd., known for the Dojima Hotel and "Bills," known for serving the world's best breakfast, has recently opened a new coffee stand in Osaka that's garnering a lot of attention. "ALL DAY COFFEE" is located on the first basement floor of Umekita Plaza in Grand Front Osaka. They offer "ALL DAY COFFEE Blend Bolivia Special," a blend of beans from Bolivia, Colombia, and Brazil selected by coffee producer Nobuhiro Toba, hand-dripped one cup at a time. To accompany your coffee, they're selling "Frutti Do," a cereal-filled doughnut created in collaboration with "Jiyugaoka Bake Shop." The doughnuts come in three flavors: plain, chocolate banana, and strawberry & raspberry. The bake shop also offers its own original "cranberry granola" and "granola bars."
In addition, under the catchphrase "Cultural Engineering Stand," the store collaborated with creators from various genres, with the staff uniforms designed by Hiroshi Ozawa of Numero Uno and the store logo by Naomi Hirabayashi of PLUG-IN GRAPHIC, known for graphics in magazines such as GINZA. The same knit caps (7,800 yen) and T-shirts (6,000 yen) worn by the staff are also available for purchase in the store, as well as mugs and tumblers with the logo. Furthermore, the interior design, which features a tiled open kitchen surrounded by a solid wood counter, was created by Kunichi Nomura of TRIPSTER, the wall art by Shun Sudo of HUESPACE, and the music by Yasuo Egashira Minimum.
When asked about the store's status since opening, the owner said, "Since it's a stand, it's easy to drop in, and people of all ages have been coming since we opened. Our hand-drip coffee and our new textured granola donuts have been well-received, with many customers buying after tasting them. We've also heard people say it's fun to watch the donuts being fried right in front of their eyes, and that the original merchandise and interior are cool."
Transit General Office also produces Mercedes-Benz Connection DOWN STAIRS COFFEE and SOHOLM CAFE, which also opened in Grand Front Osaka. With this latest opening, the company now has a total of nine stores in the Kansai region, and to expand its catering business, it opened a Kansai branch in the Dojima Grand Building on February 1st of this year.
