Tokyo Tatemono and Taisei Corporation announced on the 23rd that the name of the high-rise building currently under construction at 1-5-5 Otemachi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, will be "Otemachi Tower." The first phase of construction is scheduled for completion on August 30th, with the building opening for service. The underground commercial zone, "OOTEMORI," will open first on October 2nd. The entire complex is scheduled for completion in April of next year.

Otemachi Tower will be 38 stories tall, approximately 200 meters tall. It will consist of offices, an Aman Resorts Group hotel, and Otemori. Otemori will have a connecting passageway between the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Marunouchi Line, and is located at the center of the Otemachi Station underground network, which is served by five subway lines.

The first opening on October 2nd will feature 25 stores, mainly restaurants, food retailers, and services. The second phase, scheduled for opening next spring, will feature five stores, including fashion accessories, cosmetics, and cafes. The lineup will focus on "female-friendly" shops, a rarity in the Otemachi area. Plans are underway for new store formats and shops opening in a commercial facility for the first time, including Seijo Ishii's new grocery store "EPICERIE BONHEUR (tentative name)," a Spanish-style seafood restaurant "La Pesquera -MARISQUERIA-" by HUGE, which operates restaurants such as "Rigoletto," and a Japanese lounge "HAL YAMASHITA Otemachi Lounge (tentative name)" created by Yamashita Haruyuki, executive chef of HAL YAMASHITA Tokyo.
