Lexus, celebrating its 10th anniversary since launching its brand in Japan, and Barneys New York, celebrating its 25th anniversary in Japan, have released nine special limited-edition collaboration items to commemorate their respective anniversaries. The collection features items made with leather originally used for the seats of the LFA supercar, sold in a limited run of 500 units worldwide from 2010 to 2012. This leather meets strict standards for light weight, durability against stains and scratches, and aesthetic beauty. Items such as tote bags and driving shoes, crafted by artisans selected by Barneys New York, are luxuriously crafted with the finest leather that exceeds these strict standards, resulting in even higher quality. Other items in the collection are carefully crafted using carefully selected materials and expert craftsmanship.

The lineup consists of nine items: leather tote bag (49,000 yen), driving shoes (33,000 yen), sunglasses case (8,500 yen), shoehorn with key ring (4,000 yen), sunglasses (42,000 yen), driving jacket (160,000 yen), driving pants (26,000 yen), cotton flannel shirt (19,000 yen), and cashmere knit (42,000 yen).

In addition, in order to create a handmade feel, as if the items had been made by hand over a long period of time, the collaboration item windows and special booths deliberately did not use photographs, but instead displayed sketches drawn by hand during the production of the LFA.
