Celebrating its 25th anniversary in Japan, Barneys New York has appointed internationally acclaimed dancer Koharu Sugawara as the image model for its 2015-16 Autumn/Winter campaign visuals. To coincide with this, a video presentation using Panasonic's Space Player will be held at the Barneys New York Ginza store from September 4th. The Space Player has the dual functions of both a spotlight and a projector, illuminating an object while projecting images into the surrounding space. Through this technology, the store will be showcasing a stunning marriage of Barneys New York's fashionable sensibility and the dynamic dancing of image model Koharu Sugawara.


To coincide with the launch of this visual campaign, a special window display using four Space Players will be displayed at the Barneys New York Ginza store. In the future, similar video displays will be implemented in stores in Shinjuku, Yokohama, Kobe, and Fukuoka, in addition to the Ginza store.
