Grand Hyatt Tokyo, a luxury hotel in Roppongi Hills, towers over the hustle and bustle of the city for over 10 years. Known for its sophisticated aesthetic and unique restaurants and shops, which have satisfied celebrities from Japan and abroad, the hotel has now completed a new "hospitality" space to captivate guests. The bridal boutique "CEREBRATE" reopened on September 19th, and the fragrance house "FUEGUIA 1833" will open on October 7th.
The bridal boutique "CEREBRATE," located on the first floor of the hotel, has been completely redesigned based on the concept of "celebration." The redesign was handled by Tony Chi, a world-renowned designer based in New York. He designed everything from the interior design to the Italian leather tables, sofas, furniture, and lighting. The stylish and modern design by Tony Chi, combined with a playful and glamorous atmosphere, has been transformed with increased seating and private rooms, creating a more relaxed and intimate space for consultations. A new, highly anticipated service has also been introduced: champagne for guests. The hotel also offers wedding dresses by designers like Hatsuko Endo and PRONOVIAS, luxurious sweets and gifts, and tasteful table settings, all of which evoke the image of a hotel wedding. Also, Feguia 1833, newly opened adjacent to Celebrate, is also designed by Tony Chi. This Buenos Aires-based fragrance house, making its first appearance in Japan, offers 28 eau de perfumes and 12 home collections, each made with essences extracted from plants harvested in Patagonia and South America.
Julian Bedel, a multitalented designer, musician, and perfumer, created these fragrances inspired by the nature, history, and culture of his beloved Patagonia, as well as poetry and tango. His unique worldview is expressed in the titles of his fragrances and collections. When choosing and wearing a scent, one is transported to a world of their own story. Grand Hyatt Tokyo also offers "Wedding Plans" and "Stay Plans" featuring the celebratory scent of Fégia 1833 Parfum Conjergé.
A reception party celebrating the opening of the two stores was held on October 5th at Residence Basil, a party space with an attached show kitchen. The space, decorated in burgundy red, reminiscent of autumn leaves, was so spacious it was hard to believe it could accommodate 100 seated guests. The party was also attended by Julien Bedel of Feggia 1833 and the daughter of designer Tony Chi. The lavish banquet kicked off with a speech from General Manager Steve DeWire, followed by an appearance by Andreas Fuchs, who was appointed Executive Chef of Grand Hyatt Tokyo this fall. Andreas, who has been recognized for his work at celebrity-favorite restaurants around the world, thrilled the press guests, who are accustomed to unusual dishes, with his "culinary entertainment" dinner presentations.
The location, the service, the food, and the aromas... It seems that the Grand Hyatt Tokyo would easily be able to host a highly dramatic and original celebratory banquet that appeals to all five senses.
