The hands are a vivid pink with sharp triangles in pink to create a sense of freedom. The feet are also kept simple with just two colors. I chose conservative red and hot pink, which could have easily been overly elegant, but the art has a modern finish, so I think it matches the image of modern women," says JUNKO. ■How to
(1) For the hands, leave a clear area in the center and use 07 to draw a line in an acute L-shape at about 25 degrees. Fill in the outside of the line with the same 07. If you're not good at drawing straight lines, you can ensure a sharp line by blocking each side with mending tape (or cellophane tape).
(2) It's less likely to smudge, so don't be afraid to apply multiple coats until you achieve the desired color. For a casual look that prefers a softer color, limit yourself to two or three coats, leaving a transparent look.
(3) For the feet, paint the index finger and little finger with 15 and the middle finger with 07.
(4) For the thumb and ring finger, color block them so that 07 and 15 are mixed 1:1. Use mending tape to block the area and apply one of the colors, then once dry, cover the remaining half with the other color of polish.
