On July 17th, KENZO PARFUMS will release a limited-edition new fragrance, "Flower by Kenzo L'Eau Eau de Toilette" (30ml, 6,500 yen), from its "Flower by Kenzo" line, which is based on the concept of "a single flower blooming in the city." This year marks the brand's 15th anniversary as its signature fragrance. "Flower by Kenzo" is inspired by the poppy, a favorite flower of founder Kenzo Takada and a flower that is considered to be similar in France to the Japanese dandelion. The poppy, which has both strength and fragility and can take root even in cracks in the asphalt, is superimposed on the image of a woman living in a city filled with skyscrapers. The new "Flower by Kenzo L'Eau Eau de Toilette" embodies the dazzling, pure white poppy, a rare flower among poppies. The fragrance begins with a fresh top note reminiscent of delicate yet powerful white poppy flowers, which then leads to the feminine floral notes of peony and freesia that are unique to Flower by Kenzo. Finally, soft musk accentuates femininity.
The bottle features a pure white depiction of a poppy flower just as it blooms. The packaging also features a similar poppy, with a varnish finish giving it an even stronger presence. The fragrance will be available at Kenzo's official online shop.
In addition, customers who spend 8,000 yen or more at the official online shop by August 31st will receive a limited-edition original red pouch as a gift.
