Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., which plans and develops MUJI products, will release three new high-protein snacks at MUJI stores nationwide from April 28th. These snacks are delicious and easy to consume every day as a balanced protein snack.
*Available on the online store from April 29th

■ Snacks that provide a balanced intake of protein At MUJI, we have focused on protein, an important nutrient that builds the body, including muscles, hair, and skin. While protein is an important nutrient, it is surprisingly difficult to obtain the recommended amount through diet alone. That is why we have created high-protein snacks that provide a balanced intake of protein as a snack.

We have already released six items, including biscuits and soy chips, in early April, and will now be releasing three new chocolate bar items.

・High-protein snack Milk chocolate bar (1 piece) 150 yen including tax
・High-protein snack Strawberry chocolate bar (1 piece) 150 yen including tax
・High-protein snack White chocolate bar (1 piece) 150 yen including tax

The chocolate bar and soy chips are made from soybean-derived ingredients, while the biscuits are made from wheat-derived ingredients, making them high in protein.

◇About protein
Protein is one of the three major nutrients, along with carbohydrates and lipids. Muscles, organs, hair, skin, nails, and physical function components such as hormones and antibodies are all made of protein, making it an essential nutrient for the human body.

●Guideline for Intake
The recommended daily intake of protein is approximately 60g for men aged 18 and over and approximately 50g for women.
*Required amounts vary depending on age, physical activity level, and if pregnant or breastfeeding.
