Yebisu Garden Place is holding its annual summer event, the "YEBISU GARDEN PLACE Summer Event," through August 30th. The event features two events. The "Clock Square Summer Terrace," held at a special venue in Clock Square, offers a food menu along with alcoholic beverages like the annual Yebisu Beer and "Cajutta," made with whole fruit. The lineup includes "Colorful Pickles" (700 yen), "Bagna Cauda" (750 yen), "Five-Kind Hermann Sausage Platter" (1,400 yen), and "Eisbein" (900 yen). Meanwhile, the "Yebisu Garden Picnic," held in the artificial turf-covered Center Plaza, features a variety of events based on the concept of a "picnic for adults." The main event is "Picnic Cinema," an outdoor movie screening featuring free films on a large screen set up in Center Plaza. Produced by the traveling cinema Kino Iglu, the festival will screen one film per day on weekends from July 31st and August 1st to 16th, for a total of seven films.

Films to be screened include "Kamome Diner," starring Kobayashi Satomi, Motai Masako, and Katagiri Hairi, which tells the story of a Japanese woman running a restaurant in Finland, as well as Tim Burton's "Big Fish."

Other events planned include the "Ebisu Creators Market," which will exhibit and sell works by creators with ties to Ebisu, and a "Moon and Saturn Viewing Party," which will use four astronomical telescopes to observe the stars.
