J.S. Burgers Cafe's first Kansai branch opens in Umeda, offering a limited-edition burger that's a homage to kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) and allows you to dip twice!

Dec 2, 2016

J.S. BURGERS CAFE, a hamburger shop, will open its first Kansai location on December 16th inside the lifestyle shop, etc. JOURNAL STANDARD, located in the E-MA shopping complex in Umeda, Osaka. This first Kansai location will offer the limited-edition "West Side"-themed "West Side Dip Burger" (1,210 yen), a burger not available at its Kanto locations. The burger, inspired by the "French Dip Sandwich" (a dish made with beef, jack cheese, and onion) originating from the American West Coast, also pays homage to the Kansai region's specialty, kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers). This original burger allows customers to dip the burger in gravy made with Ikari Sauce, a flavor originating from Osaka.

In addition, to commemorate the store's opening, from December 16th to 19th, the first 30 customers each day who purchase a "West Side Dip Burger" will receive an original market bag. The bag is a limited edition design featuring a Billiken motif on Etcetera Journal Standard's original market bag. As part of the opening event, there will also be a hamburger lottery where you can win the right to a free burger and the triple patty mega-sized "Monster Patty Burger".
