Until December 25th, Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store Salon de Café will be serving Christmas-only sweets made with red-fleshed, mythical apples from Aomori Prefecture, including the "Kurenai no Yume" apple.
The "Christmas Rouge Parfait" (1,980 yen including tax) is a parfait made with mixed berries resembling lipstick, adorned with the mythical apple "Kurenai no Yume." Raspberry soup and milk ice cream are layered at the bottom of the glass, and a berry sorbet flavored with a blend of herbs and a rich, sweet and sour special berry sauce are placed on top. "Noel de Fromage" (1,980 yen including tax, includes a complimentary cup of coffee or tea) is a dessert inspired by a snowman-adorned tree made from fromage mousse with a hint of berry jelly. The tree is surrounded by garnishes such as red fruits and strawberry marble ice cream. "Shiseido Parlour Story in December" (2,450 yen including tax, includes a complimentary cup of coffee or tea) is a plate of Shiseido Parlour's classic strawberry parfait, chocolate parfait, and pudding, as well as three seasonal sweets and fruit. Christmas-themed sweets are also available, including a candle made from red strawberry and pistachio mousse and a chestnut brownie tree decorated with holly. Also available until December 29th is the "Aomori Orikasa Mitsuboshi Farm Kurenai no Yume Ice Cream Soda" (1,130 yen including tax), made with syrup made from natural stones squeezed from the red-fleshed "Kurenai no Yume" apple and traditional ice cream. During the same period, other items on offer include the "Yamaguchi Prefecture Kaorino Strawberry Parfait" (1,890 yen including tax), which is characterized by its refreshing sweetness and mild acidity, and the "Niigata Prefecture Watanabe Farm Le Lectier Parfait" (1,980 yen including tax), which uses flavorful "Le Lectier" that has been matured while listening to Mozart.
