J.S. Burgers Cafe's Christmas menu features a luxurious beef and shrimp sandwich.

Nov 12, 2016

J.S. BURGERS CAFE, a hamburger specialty cafe, will be offering a Christmas-only menu item, the "OBM Burger" (1,430 yen), from November 22nd to December 25th.

The "OBM Burger" is a luxurious burger sandwich featuring dishes and ingredients commonly enjoyed at Christmas parties. It features juicy soft-shell limp lobster, a party staple, creamy Maribo cheese, and seasonal winter broccoli, all topped with lobster bisque sauce and sandwiched between an ice-aged, coarsely ground beef patty. The name "OBM" comes from the initials of the lobster bisque sauce, broccoli, and Maribo cheese used in the burger. The hidden theme is also a homage to President Obama, whose eight-year term will come to an end following the U.S. presidential election on November 8th. Other side dishes that will be available for sale include "Grilled Smoked Turkey" (1 bottle/450 yen, 4 bottles/1,680 yen, 8 bottles/3,200 yen), a juicy and tender smoked turkey that is only available during the Christmas season, and "Fistmas Holiday Ale" (780 yen), a red ale with aromas of caramel and plum.
