Tokujin Yoshioka presents new works with rainbow-colored rays at the "Spectrum" exhibition at the Shiseido Gallery

Dec 9, 2016

The Shiseido Gallery will host the exhibition "Tokujin Yoshioka: Spectrum - Rainbow Rays Emitted from a Prism" from January 13 to March 26, 2017.

Tokujin Yoshioka creates works that combine free-flowing ideas and experimental technology in a wide range of fields, including design, art, and architecture. He has focused on the relationship between nature and humans, expressing his work through a unique method that explores and researches the sensations brought about by light. In his solo exhibition "TOKUJINN YOSHIDA_Crystallize" held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2013, he presented "Rainbow Church," created using prisms.

In this exhibition, he will present a new installation, "Spectrum," featuring rainbow-colored rays emitted from a sculpture made of prisms. The entire space is filled with light created by the infinite colors of nature, science, and technology, allowing visitors to experience a mystical light.
