KDDI has announced the Fx0, Japan's first smartphone to use the open mobile platform Firefox OS.
The Fx0 features a skeletal body that expresses this openness. It was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, who is collaborating with au for the third time. Following on from the au design project's "MEDIA SKIN" and iida's "X-RAY," this latest model has a futuristic design (Yoshioka) that exudes mechanical functional beauty from within. Its unique design is immediately apparent at a glance, with the Firefox logo placed on the home button.
